White Nail Polish – The Style of the Time

White Nail Polish

There is a new trend with nail polish these days which sees white color going bossy over black. The likes of Paris Hilton and Rachel Zoe have portrayed them in style fashion statements when you switched on the television but women like you have taken to it quite fast. Initially, there was debate regarding how much of the style quotient a white nail polish would carry but it seems that the white nail polish has stood best to the expectation. According to common perception, white is light, fashionable and bright providing a fresh look as opposed to the black nail polish that is heavy and jarring.

Buying is always a good option but let me tell you how you can prepare a white paint. To make white nail polish you should have a funnel. You can make a funnel from an envelope by cutting a bit from its corner or you can use the funnel you have. Open the nail polish bottle and ensure that it is clean. Put the funnel over the top of the bottle. Pour eyeshadow and glitter through the funnel and into the bottle together. You now need to mix the contents. You can either close the bottle and shake it or take a thin wooden stick to stir it well. Done! For testing, take a bit of the white nail polish and put in on your nails. If you find some ingredient missing, then add it.

Now how do you wear it? Firstly, file and clean your nails well. This is because white nail polish does not hide untidy and dirty nails. White nail polish on your dirty unkempt nails looks worse than without nail polish on them. Now, apply a base coat on the fingers. This is to ensure a smooth coverage by the white nail polish and better finish. Let it dry for five minutes.

After this period, apply the white nail polish at the centre of the nails. Then, paint the corner of the nails but before doing so, remember that the paint is not dripping. In case dripping occurs, dab off the extra polish by the walls of the bottle. Apply a second and third coat of white nail polish in the same manner because after the first coat cracks may appear. Be careful to not allow any nail polish on the skin because white paint on the skin appears ugly. Lastly, wait for an hour for the paint to go dry before applying any gloss on it for better finish. Enjoy coloring your nails white!
